Resource Monitor

You can monitor the status of your NAS in Control Panel > System > Resource Monitor.

Description

Overview

This screen provides a general summary of CPU usage, memory usage, network usage, and ongoing processes on the NAS.

System Resource

This screen uses line charts to display CPU usage, memory usage, network usage, and graphics card usage (if supported and installed) over time.

You can hover the mouse pointer over a line chart to view the hardware usage at a specific point in time.

Tip:

You can click More () and then select Settings to specify the time interval on the line charts.

Storage Resource

This screen uses line charts to display the activities of volumes, LUNs, storage pools, RAID groups, and disks on the NAS over time. This screen also summarizes the storage usage of each volume.

You can hover the mouse pointer over a line chart to view the storage activity at a specific point in time.

Processes

This screen displays all ongoing background processes and provides information about each process, such as its current status, CPU usage, and memory usage.

Tip:

You can enable Group by Applications to group related processes together (for example, all the processes related to an application or a system feature). You can also sort information in ascending or descending order, column category, show or hide columns, and choose to Collapse All or Expand All running processes.
