Modifying DNS Settings

  1. Go to Control Panel > Privilege > Domain Controller > DNS.
  2. Log in under the domain administrator account.
    Note:

    This is the account created when enabling the domain controller.

    1. Specify the following information.

      Field

      Description

      Account

      Enter administrator.

      Password

      Enter the password specified when the account was created.

    2. Click Login.
  3. Under DNS Settings, select a domain.

    A list of records appears.

  4. Select a record.

    The properties panel appears.

  5. Modify any of the following.

    Field

    Description

    Name

    Edit the name of the record.

    Type

    Select the type of record.

  6. Modify the values.

    Add a value

    1. Specify a value.

    2. Click .

      The value is added to the list.

    Move a value up

    1. Select a value from the list.

    2. Click .

      The value moves up in the list.

    Move a value down

    1. Select a value from the list.

    2. Click .

      The value moves down in the list.

    Remove a value

    1. Select a value from the list.

    2. Click .

      The value is removed from the list.

  7. Click Apply.
