Shutting Down Node Devices

To shut down both devices in an HA configuration, you must initiate the process from the active node.

Note:

To ensure the devices resume their current node roles when starting the devices after the shutdown, do not disconnect the power supply during the shutdown process.
To shut down a single device, you must first remove the HA configuration. For details, see Removing HA Configuration.

Log on to QNE on the active node.
On the QNE desktop, click [USERNAME].

A drop-down menu appears.
Click Shutdown.

A confirmation message appears.
Click Confirm.
1. The shutdown screen appears.
2. The active node requests the standby node to shut down.
3. The standby node shuts down.
4. The active node confirms that the standby node has shut down.
5. The active node shuts down.
