Configuring CPU and Memory Resources
- Open Ubuntu Linux Station.

Configure the CPU resources.

Under Resources, click .
The CPU Resource Allocation window appears.

Configure the CPU allocation method.
Setting
Description
Shared
Shares the specified CPU resources with other applications.
Dedicated
Assign CPU resources specifically for this VM. -
Select a processor.
Note:
This setting is available only if your device supports more than one processor.
- Select the number of cores and threads.
- Click Apply.
Important:You cannot configure shared and dedicated CPU resources for devices supporting less than four cores and eight threads.

Under Resources, click .
- Specify the amount of memory required to run the OS.
- Click Apply.
Ubuntu Linux Station saves the CPU and memory resources.
