Firmware Update
You can check for QNE device firmware updates on the Firmware Update page. You can also click Digital Signature to view the digital signature details of the current firmware version.
Firmware Update Requirements
Your device must meet the following requirements to perform a firmware update:

QNAP recommends rebooting the device system before the firmware update. |
Administrator privileges |
You must be a device administrator or have admin privileges to update firmware. |
Stop device operations |
QNAP recommends stopping all other device operations before the firmware update. The device must restart before the firmware update takes effect and this may disrupt ongoing device services or operations. |
Device model name |
Ensure you have the correct device model name. You can find the device model name using the following methods:

Firmware version |
If you are updating the firmware manually or using Qfinder Pro, ensure the selected firmware version is correct for your device model. |
