Managing shared files and folders

Note:

QNE devices do not support file sharing.

  1. Open Qfile Pro on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the app bar.

    The Device List window appears.

  3. Tap a QNAP device to select it.

    The Folders window appears.

  4. Tap .

    The Share window appears.

  5. Tap Share Link.
  6. Select the type of content to view.

    User Action

    Description

    Tap Shared

    Displays content shared to other users from your account on the currently connected QNAP device.

    Tap Received

    Displays content shared from other users to your account on the currently connected QNAP device.
  7. Identify a file or folder, and then tap .

    The shared file and folder action menu opens.

  8. Perform one of the following actions:

    Reshare the file or folder

    1. Tap Reshare.

      The Share Links window appears.

    2. Optional: Tap to copy a share link.

    3. Optional: Tap Open to open a preview of the file or folder.

    View details of the file or folder

    Tap Details.

    The Details window appears.

    Stop sharing the file or folder

    Tap Delete.

    The share link is deleted and the file or folder is no longer shared.
