Extracting files

Note:

Only compressed files and folders can be extracted.

  1. Open Qfile Pro on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the app bar.

    The Device List window appears.

  3. Tap a QNAP device to select it.

    The Folders window appears.

  4. Identify a compressed file or folder, and then tap .

    The file and folder action menu opens.

  5. Tap Extract.

    The Extract window appears.

  6. Optional: Specify the following settings:

    • Extract to: The location to extract the file or folder.

    • Overwrite: Specify a file name conflict policy.

    • File Path: Specify how subfolders of the compressed file are handled.

      • Extract full paths: Subfolders of the compressed file are extracted into corresponding subfolders under the Extract to location.

      • Do not extract paths: Contents in the compressed file's subfolders are extracted into the root of the Extract to location. No subfolders are created.

    • Password: The password required to access the compressed file.

  7. Tap Extract.
