Managing background tasks

  1. Open Qfile Pro on your mobile device.
  2. Tap .

    The Menu window appears.

  3. Tap Background task.
  4. Select one of the following:

    • Incomplete: Manage incomplete background tasks.

    • Completed: Manage completed background tasks.

  5. Select one of the following tabs:

    • Upload: Manage upload tasks.

    • Download: Manage download tasks.

    • Auto Upload: Manage auto upload tasks.

    • Synchronization: Manage file synchronization tasks.

    • File Operations: Manage other file operation tasks.

    Qfile Pro displays files and folders of the selected task type.

  6. Optional: Tap at the top of the list to perform an action on all applicable tasks.

    Start all incomplete tasks

    • Incomplete tasks

    • Upload, download, and auto upload tasks

    Start all incomplete tasks of the selected task type.

    Stop all incomplete tasks

    • Incomplete tasks

    • Upload, download, and auto upload tasks

    Stop all incomplete tasks of the selected task type.

    Remove all incomplete tasks

    • Incomplete tasks

    • Upload, download, and auto upload tasks

    Remove all records of incomplete tasks of the selected task type.

    Restart skipped tasks (overwrite duplicate files)

    • Completed tasks

    • Upload, download, and auto upload tasks

    Run tasks of the selected task type that were previously skipped.

    Remove all completed tasks

    • Completed tasks

    • Upload, download, and auto upload tasks

    Remove all records of completed tasks of the selected task type.

    Pause syncing

    • Incomplete tasks

    • Synchronization tasks

    Pause all incomplete synchronization tasks.

    Remove all failed tasks

    • Incomplete tasks

    • Synchronization tasks

    Remove all failed synchronization tasks.

    Retry all failed tasks

    • Incomplete tasks

    • Synchronization tasks

    Retry all failed synchronization tasks.
  7. Optional: Tap next to an individual file or folder task to perform an action on the task.

    • Info: View information about the file or folder and the associated task.

    • Delete: Remove the record of the file or folder task.

      Note:

      If the task is an incomplete download task, the partially downloaded data will also be deleted.

    • Stop: Stop an incomplete task.

      Note:

      Stopping a download task will not delete the downloaded data. However, data from an incomplete download task will not appear in the Downloads folder.

    • Resume: Resume a stopped task.

      Note:

      Resuming a download task will resume downloading remaining data without deleting previously downloaded data.
