Configuring Qfile Pro settings

Note:

  1. Open Qfile Pro on your mobile device.

  2. Tap .

    The Menu window appears.

  3. Tap Settings.

    The Settings window appears.

  4. Configure one or more of the following settings.

Use cellular data for file uploads and downloads

View how much device storage is currently used to store synchronized files.

File upload settings

Configure the photo and video upload policy.

  • Upload photo only: Photos are uploaded, video files are not uploaded.

  • Upload photo and video: Photos and video files are uploaded.

HEIC file upload

Configure the HEIC file uploading policy.

  • JPEG: Convert HEIC files to JPEG when uploading.

  • HEIC:Upload the original HEIC files without converting them.

  • HEIC & JPEG: Upload both the original HEIC files and their converted JPEG copies.

Duplicate file name policy

Configure the file name conflict policy for uploads.

  • Overwrite: Uploaded files overwrite files of the same name in the destination folder.

  • Skip: Do not upload a file if a file of the same name exists in the destination folder.

  • Rename: Rename the uploaded file if a file of the same name exists in the destination folder.

NAS SETTINGS > For downloads

Configure the file name conflict policy for downloads.

  • Overwrite: Downloaded files overwrite local files of the same name.

  • Skip: Do not download a file if a file of the same name exists locally.

  • Rename: Rename a downloaded file if a file of the same name exists locally.

NAS SETTINGS > Copy/Move

Configure the file name conflict policy for copy and move operations.

  • Overwrite: Copied/moved files overwrite destination files of the same name.

  • Skip: Do not copy/move a file if a file of the same name exists in the destination.

  • Rename: Rename a copied/moved file if a file of the same name exists in the destination.

  • Always ask me: Each file name conflict triggers a confirmation window for selecting one of the above options.
