    Note:

General settings apply to file synchronization and automatic file uploads.

    • Use cellular data: When enabled, Qfile Pro uses cellular data to transfer files when Wi-Fi is not available.

    • Allow background file transfers: When enabled, changes in your device's location will trigger Qfile Pro to perform file transfers in the background.

    • Automatic file transfers only when charging: When enabled, Qfile Pro only transfers files when the mobile device is connected to a power source.

  6. Optional: Configure automatic upload settings in Auto Upload Settings.
    1. Tap Upload rules to select an upload rule.
      • Scan and upload: Qfile Pro scans the names of the files in the destination folder and then uploads the files not found in the destination folder. The scan is performed once, and any new files added to Camera Roll after the scan are automatically uploaded.

      • Upload all: Upload all photos and videos.

      • Upload from: Upload all photos and videos created after the specified date.

    2. Use original filename: When enabled, Qfile Pro uses the original file name when uploading. Because duplicate file name conflicts may occur, QNAP recommends disabling this option.
    3. Duplicate file name: Specify a duplicate file name policy.
      • Skip: If a file with the same name exists in the destination folder, the file is not uploaded.

      • Rename: If a file with the same name exists in the destination folder, the uploaded file is automatically renamed to avoid a file name conflict.

    4. Live Photo: Specify how Qfile Pro handles photos and videos when automatically uploading:
      • Upload photo only: Photos are uploaded, video files are not uploaded.

      • Upload photo and video: Photos and video files are uploaded.

    5. HEIC file upload: Specify how Qfile Pro handles HEIC files when automatically uploading:
      • JPEG: Convert HEIC files to JPEG when uploading.

      • HEIC: Upload the original HEIC files without converting them.

      • HEIC & JPEG: Upload both the original HEIC files and their converted JPEG copies.

    6. Use cellular data to upload videos: Enable this option to upload videos with cellular data when Wi-Fi is not available. This option is only available if Use cellular data is enabled.
  7. Tap Confirm.

Qfile Pro enables automatic file uploads and an automatic upload task appears in File Transfer > Auto Upload Tasks.
