Managing a QNAP device

  1. Open Qfile Pro on your mobile device.
  2. Tap on the app bar.

    The Device List window appears.

  3. Tap next to the device you want to manage.
  4. Perform one of the following:

    Option

    View connection information

    1. Click Edit.

      The Edit Login Information window appears.

    2. Under Connection Information, view the device's connection information.

    Edit device information

    1. Click Edit.

      The Edit Login Information window appears.

    2. Modify one or more of the following settings:

      • Connection name

      • Device address or myQNAPcloud name

      • NAS Password

      • Keep me logged in

      • Secure login (SSL)

      • Detect port automatically

      • Default connection method: Tap Select a default connection method

    3. Tap Save.

    Qfile Pro attempts to connect to the device. If the connection is successful, the new device information is saved.

    Delete

    1. Tap Delete.

      A confirmation message appears.

    2. Tap Confirm.

    The device is removed from the Device List window. Files downloaded to your mobile device from this device are not removed.
