Adding a Protection Rule
- Open ADRA NDR.
- Go to Policy Management > Rules.
- Click Add Rule.
- Specify a rule name.

Specify the IP addresses to
apply.

All
The rule applies to all IP addresses.
IP address
The rule applies to one or more specified IP addresses.
Note:Examples of valid entries:

IP address: 192.168.1.10

IP range: 192.168.3.1-192.168.3.100

CIDR IP notation: 192.168.2.1/24

Multiple entries (separated by semicolons): 192.168.1.10; 192.168.3.1-192.168.3.100; 192.168.2.1/24

Select a protection policy.
Policy
Description
Strict Protection
Automatically quarantines all potential attacks.
Advanced Protection
Automatically quarantines medium-risk and high-risk attacks.
Basic Protection
Automatically quarantines high-risk attacks only.
Risk Inform
Monitors and notifies the user of all potential attacks.

Click Save.
ADRA NDR adds the rule to the list.
- Optional:
Click and drag to
change the rule priority.
Note:
Rules higher on the list have higher priority.
- Optional: Click to activate the rule.
