Default iSCSI CHAP |
CHAP authentication provides security without using NAS usernames or passwords. Configuring default iSCSI CHAP authentication settings allows you to select and apply the same CHAP settings to an iSCSI target during target configuration, instead of manually entering the same settings or unique settings.
The username and password requirements are the same for one-way and mutual CHAP:
Note:
If you want to modify the default iSCSI CHAP authentication settings later, you must first disconnect all connected targets that are using the default settings. |
