Moving a File

  1. Open File Station.
  2. Locate the file.
  3. Perform one of the following methods.

    Using the toolbar

    1. Select the file.

    2. Click .

    3. Select Copy to/Move to and then select Move to.

    4. Select the destination folder.

    5. Click OK.

    1. Select the file.

    2. Click .

    3. Select Cut.

    4. Select the destination folder.

    5. Click .

    6. Select Paste.

    Using the context menu

    1. Right-click the file and then select Copy to/Move to and Move to.

    2. Select the destination folder.

    3. Click OK.

    1. Right-click the file and then select Cut.

    2. Select the destination folder.

    3. Right-click inside the folder and then select Paste.

    Using keyboard shortcuts

    1. Select the file.

    2. Press CTRL + X or Command-X.
    3. Go to the destination folder.

    4. Press CTRL + V or Command-V.

    Using drag and drop

    1. Select the file.

    2. Drag and drop to the destination folder.

    3. Step result: A context menu appears.

    4. Select one of the following actions.

      • Move and skip

      • Move and overwrite

      • Move (and rename if a file exists with the same name)

    File Station moves the selected file to the specified folder.
